We write for beginners who are just getting started and for active investors managing complex portfolios. Both audiences deserve honest, well-researched guidance — not affiliate marketing dressed up as editorial content.
Built because honest crypto reviews were too hard to find
In 2022, our founder spent three weeks trying to find the right crypto tax software before their first filing deadline. Every "review" site they found was either outdated, clearly sponsored, or written by someone who had never actually used the product.
So they built CryptoToolAdvisor — a site where reviews are grounded in product research, pricing verification, and where possible, hands-on evaluation. No press kits. No sponsored placements. We note when a comparison is research-based rather than hands-on tested.
Today, we cover a growing range of tools across tax software, portfolio trackers, hardware wallets, and analytics platforms. Our goal is to earn reader trust through transparency and honest recommendations — not marketing claims.

Accuracy over speed
We'd rather publish one well-researched comparison than five rushed ones. Where possible, we include hands-on evaluation. Pricing is verified directly on each tool's official page. Some comparisons are research-based rather than hands-on tested.
